Dr. Yousef Ghandour is currently serving as President of the House of Palestine and has served as VP for the prior 5-years. Yousef was born and raised in Amman- Jordan of Palestinian descent (Jaffa and Haifa) and immigrated to San Diego in 1979. He enjoys the comradery, fellowship, and rich culture of his Middle Eastern communities. He is always up for a good backgammon game.
Dr. Ghandour has volunteered for 15 years at the House of Palestine in different capacities and committees such as the food and cultural committees. His philanthropic work and currently he is actively serving on several boards including Vice President – Physical Therapy for All; Board member of – National Arab American Medical Association (NAAMA); Member of External Advisory Board Council – at the University of St. Augustine.
Dr. Yousef Ghandour, DPT, has been a practicing clinician for 37 years in Orthopedic Manual Physical and currently works as a clinic director at PRN Physical Therapy in UTC. He received his Physical Therapy Bachelor of Science in 1985; Master's in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy in 1991; Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy in 1993; In 2021 he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with emphasis on Executive leadership. He is a faculty member at the University of St. Augustine Physical Therapy program; a voluntary adjunct faculty/ lecturer at the SDSU Physical Therapy program; San Diego State Physical Therapy Program.
Dr. Ghandour lectures extensively in orthopedics with a special interest in spinal care, sports medicine, and pre/post-surgical rehabilitation.
