 My name is Aida Shadfan.  I am a Vice President of Accounting for a company in San Diego. I have a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from CSU, Sacramento and master’s in business administration from CSU, San Marcos. 

I moved to San Diego from Jordan when I was 18 to attend college. I have lived in San Diego most of my life. I have two adult children (both boys) who graduated college and decided to live and work in the Los Angeles area. I have a large family that lives in San Diego.  

When I'm not working or volunteering, I like to spend time with family and friends.  I also like cooking, working out, dining out, hiking, camping, and vacationing.

I have been on the HOP Board for 5 years and I couldn't be happier. It is a pleasure and an honor to volunteer for such a great cause. It is also an honor to volunteer with the people involved in the House and have been involved for the past 20 years. 

I am the Treasurer but since there is so much work to be done to maintain the house and keep our doors open, I wear multiple hats and that includes and not limited to hosting at the House on weekends, serving food and cashiering at events, planning for events, and much more.
